Walking With Spirits is a nice entry level book. Taylor Ellwood's many years of experience make this part of magic which many writers make too complicated, a simple thing. The book offers a different paradigm of cooperation for spirit work. The most important thing is this book stresses a non-humancentric viewpoint. This helps immensely when working with spirits. It is nice to see this information which contrasts the humans are superior the spirits are far away and need to be coerced viewpoints. Magicians should consider this approach as they delve into deep layers of spirit work. - Valkyr Johnson ★★★★★ Taylor's newest book, "Walking with Spirits," is another well-done book that focuses on modern magick and relationships with spirits. Not only does he continue the theme over the last several years of taking a new, healthier look, at how we interact with spirits, he also adds his stylistic signature of taking a fuller, more comprehensive look at the various types of spirits that are out there. - Bill Duvendack, Author of Vocal Magick ★★★★★ Taylor asks us to question traditional occult philosophy on how to call and constrain spirits. He recommends "experiential embodiment", essentially evoking and invoking the spirit into your life, then working with it through your life and senses as an alternative to traditional evocation. This method includes a wide variety of ways to "communicate" with spirits including painting portals.
