Your valance will clip to the top rail of the blind and extend beyond the window frame and will connect to both 3½ inch return/side pieces. The ends of your valance and side pieces will be cut at 45° to properly attach at a right angle. | VALANCE | Our outside mount blinds include a decorative valance with two return side pieces. The valance attaches easily with clips. | HOW TO PROPERLY MEASURE | 1. Measure the width in three places: top, middle, and bottom. Use the widest width when ordering. 2. Add 3 to 4 inches to the width for an outside mount. 3. Measure the height similarly and add an additional 3 to 4 inches ensuring full coverage.
