At 2.5 inches thick, it provides a soft and comfortable women’s-specific sleeping surface that is narrower at the shoulders and wider around the hips and knees. The multi-function reversible valve allows for fast and easy inflation—with the integrated Airstream Pumpsack which inflates the pad in just a few breaths—one-way deflation for quick packup, and fine-tuning of air pressure for a good night’s sleep. The insulated pad features Thermolite insulation which lofts up inside the Air Sprung Cells to prevent convective heat loss to the cold ground (women’s pads have a thicker layer of insulation than unisex pads), as well as Exkin Platinum reflective fabric which radiates heat back during sleep (R-Value of 3.9—the higher the R-value, the warmer the sleeping pad). Air Sprung Cells are double layered in the torso for increased comfort and warmth, with a single layer of cells in the head and leg areas for reduced weight.
