Tri Clamp manifolds are used in many industries to separate flows to a number of distinct process lines. Manifolds are a more economical solution than placing multiple tees in succession, and more compact than multiple crosses. The immediate disadvantage of a manifold is that all of the ports exit the manifold the same direction. Additional elbows or bends will be needed to redirect flow.

This DERNORD Manifold Tri Clamp Tube sanitary fitting is made of stainless steel 304 and clamps to tubing on all five ends. This fitting has five openings to connect and branch five pipes, two on the main run and 3 ports at a 90-degree angle.
