This product is made here in the USA out of a synthetic polyester material with a repositionable, heavy duty tape to hold the Instabind to the back of the carpet. The tape can be easy repositioned at first but once the installation is complete and the rug is laid in place the tape will begin to adhere more/harder as time passes insuring a long lasting and secure bond. We sell Instabind in 5 foot sections up to the total amount you need to bind your carpet scraps or rug. To get the correct amount simply add up the total feet all around the item to be bound. A 3 x 6 rug would require you to order a quantity of 4. How? The rug measures 3 + 3 + 6 + 6 = 18 total feet you would need a total of 4 five foot sections. When you order 4 units (20 feet) this will come in one continuous roll. Instabind is user-friendly and perfect for the DIYer to do. Each shipment comes with basic written instructions and a QR code to watch the "how to" video before you start. The items not included but needed for installation are heavy duty scissors, hot melt glue gun (even a small craft glue gun will work) and hot melt glue.
