This 120 series panic exit bar is recommended for doors with glass inserts but is also compatible with wood, steel and composite solid face doors. What's best about our products is that they can be shortened in size if needed. Just simply hacksaw the bar then attach the bar together where you need a drill and screw.

The 120 Series Panic exit device is intended for dual doors that have no mullion, and is used for doors that are independent of one another. This panic push bar is exit only, however, if one door needs to have outside access to the handle it can be paired with the Sentry Safety Panic Hardware 100 series.

Included with this panic bar is a steel strike for the top of the door frame, and floor keeper for the bottom of the frame or the floor. The vertical rods leading to the bottom and the top of the door are included as well.

This panic bar is surface mount, therefore the panic bar is placed on the rear face of the door. The strike goes on the door frame behind the door, not on the inside of the frame where you may have previously had a handle. The previous handle will need to be removed. Caps and door jam handles are also available to cover the previous spot where the handles were located. Mounting bolts are provided however depending on the material the door is made of you may switch to the same diameter in wood screws, self tapping metal screws, or for added strength - sex bolts (sex bolts have a female side on the outside of the door and a male side on the inside of the door and then they join in the middle of the door, Because both faces of the door are used for securing the bar it makes for a very strong hold.)
