Do not use on EPS foam 97% less VOCs than conventional resin. Made in the USA NEW! Low-VOC Clear Dual-Cure Polyester Resin This innovative resin cures using either UV light, MEKP catalyst, or both. It’s crystal clear, UV-stable, and capable of achieving a completely dry, hard surface when desired. What makes it truly unique is that you control the curing process. You can stop and start whenever you need—step away for a break, take a call, or even go for a surf—and return to pick up right where you left off. The resin cures only when exposed to UV light, giving you total flexibility. You can also partially cure it to a “B-stage,” where it becomes firm but not fully hard. This allows for clean razor trims on laps, fin boxes, or leash plugs before completing the cure with UV light. For shaping or fairing projects, you can advance to a slightly harder B-stage and easily work the resin with a Surform or coarse-grit sandpaper, then re-expose it to UV light to finish curing. When working with deeper sections such as fin or fin plug installations, MEKP can be added to ensure full-depth curing. With a quick burst from a UV flashlight or natural sunlight, fins and plugs can be set in seconds, and flush sanding can be done within minutes while the MEKP continues to cure below the surface.
