OPTIX Clear Extruded Acrylic Sheets are a lightweight, durable, crystal-clear material often used as a glass replacement in many applications. Easy to cut with common tools, acrylic is a popular choice for hobby, craft, and do-it-yourself projects such as shelf liners, cabinet fronts, window boxes, desk protection, and more. Suitable for indoor or outdoor use. OPTIX acrylic sheet is able to withstand prolonged exposure to the sun and elements. The UV-stabilized sheet also prevents yellowing. Easy to Clean. Clean OPTIX acrylic sheet with a mild soap solution, or a commercially available plastic cleaner and a lint-free cloth. Avoid cleaners containing ammonia or alcohol. Fabric and cut with common hand tools. To cut or trim OPTIX acrylic sheet up to 1/4" thick, repeatedly score (up to 1/3 through the sheet) along a straight edge with a plastic cutting tool. Align the score with the edge of the board and apply gentle pressure to break the sheet along the score line.
