This is due to this now being the standard oil filter on all Generac generators. The filter you will receive is the extended life, 90MM long filter. It is 30% longer than the old filter that used to be standard back in the early 200's. The additional S simply signifies the color is orange! Generac has changed their part number for this filter because of the new color, however the 070185ES and 070185E filters are identical in every other aspect.
