With a naturally sweet strawberry flavor, our liquid cough suppressant for kids contains two active ingredients: a cough suppressant to reduce coughing for up to 8 hours and an antihistamine to help alleviate itchy, watery eyes, runny nose and sneezing.

Active ingredients
Chlorpheniramine maleate, USP 1 mg (antihistamine) Dextromethorphan HBr, USP 7.5 mg (cough suppressant).

Inactive ingredients
Citric acid, FD&C red no. 40, flavor, glycerin, propylene glycol, purified water, sodium benzoate, sorbitol, sucralose

Directions
Temporarily relieves coughing and cold symptoms: runny nose, sneezing, itchy, watery eyes, itching of the nose or throat. Not for use for children under the age of 6. 

Children 6-11 years: 2 teaspoons every 6 hours 

Children 12 and older: 4 teaspoons every 6 hours. 

Not to exceed 4 doses in a 24 hour period.

Do not use to sedate a child, make them sleepy or if they are taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. Not for use for children under the age of 6. Stop use and ask a doctor if cough lasts more than 7 days, comes back, or is accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headache. In case of overdose, seek medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
