Precision-Tuned: Pinewood Pro’s own engineers lathe the treads, hubs, and rims of each wheel. The inside tread is also trued and tuned. This means lighter wheels for better speed. Squared Hubs: These derby wheels for Pinewood Derby racing also offer coned and squared hubs, which were meticulously designed to reduce friction on the derby car body. Graphite-Coated Treads: The treads and hubs of each derby car wheel are also perma-coated with graphite using Pinewood Pro’s patent-pending process for slick, fast performance. Balanced: The wheels are matched with all four wheels from the same mold, so they’re carefully balanced as a set. They’re also track tested and proven to increase speed! The PRO Official Speed Wheels from Pinewood Pro are the official wheels from the official BSA kit that have been lathed for a smooth, perfectly trued, and balanced wheel. The treads and hubs are then graphite coated using our exclusive, first-of-its-kind process. You can expect lightweight wheels for fast starts and smooth rolling, race after race.
