Not only is she the first doll in this breathtaking series, she is also Bob Mackie's first porcelain Barbie doll ever. She is sculpted in a classic Tango dance pose — one hand reaching out for her mystery partner, the other placed coyly on her hip — with her poseable head turned to one side. Her shimmering purple gown is accented with hand-sewn beading, and a fuchsia, lime green, and turquoise butterfly with glass beads adorns her fitted bodice.
