The Rainbow Brigade is here to help! This group of dogs led by Nubby-Bean brings smiles, joy, and hope to people going through difficult times, whether it’s dealing with a new baby sibling, a best friend moving away, or the loss of a parent. Bodhi has a baby sister who receives a lot of attention from family and friends. Now, he is feeling insignificant and forgotten. When Nubby-Bean and the Rainbow Brigade show up at his door, they try to show him that the most important job in the world is being a big brother. Does Bodhi learn to embrace his new role? Dr. Sheila Cooperman is a retired English Language Arts teacher with a PhD in Literacy. She invariably turns to writing to express either her love or ache with issues stemming from losing both her mothers, having children, dealing with divorce, and more recently coping with the death of her Boykin Spaniel. She grew up in the countryside and is inspired by wildlife and the outdoors.
