Old School Meets the New School Carson Hayes is a typical teenage boy. After suffering through a long week of school, he is set free as the final bell rings on Friday afternoon. Most of his weekends are spent in his room playing video games and scrolling on his phone. All that changes when Carson is forced to spend the weekend with a distant uncle. Unfortunately for Carson, Uncle Crockett isn’t the type of guy interested in video games and social media. He’s an avid outdoorsman, and he doesn’t have the slightest interest in the comfort of his stranded nephew. Stuck together, Crockett and Carson have no choice but to tolerate each other for the weekend. As the story unfolds, Crockett teaches Carson a few things about fire starting in the wilderness. Eventually, Carson has his new skills put to the test as he learns to live in a world beyond his screen.
