Some people think having He as a pronoun means you are a Daddy. But that's not always how it goes. Based on true events, this children's book explores transgender identity through a family's experience with one of the parents transitioning. She was born and raised in New York City and now lives nearby with her family. Katherine is a social worker, educator, parent, and partner. She believes deeply in the power of relationships and works to center equity in all that she does. She loves to cook, eat ice cream, fix things, and paint furniture. She is the author of this book and a few others that are still in her head. Born in Claremore, Oklahoma, Lee worked his way out and into New York City! He loves his curly hair, Polaroids, jazz, and growing tomatoes. He also loves doing anything creative including making video games, animating, music, and of course, drawing! Lee has had a passion for art since he was very young! Lee goes by he/him pronouns.
