Hi, My name is Petra! Join my dad and me as we venture into the city to learn about the media messages all around us. We are surrounded by messages (media) our entire lives--most of them are beautiful! Some inspire us to learn and grow, but some messages are empty and unhealthy. Dad and I will come face to face with clear and hidden messages in different media such as advertising, social media, movies, and fake news. EEK was formed to help parents address the changing issues that our children face every day. With the ever-evolving world we live in, our children are asking questions about sex more often and at an earlier age. If our kids aren't getting the answers they need from reliable, trusted sources like parents, they will seek out answers elsewhere.
