After sinking a huge chunk of their childhood into games like Starcraft and Age of Empires, Alex initially set their sights on becoming a video game concept artist, but fell in love with children's book illustration while studying illustration at the University of Lincoln. They have a passion for all things science fiction thanks to their love of video games and many all-night marathons of Doctor Who and Mystery Science Theatre 3000 as a student.
