I personally hiked every trail in this book, and although 75 great hikes are featured, when you add in hike nearby options and extend a hike options, there are over 100 hikes! Hikes range in distance from 1.2 miles to 14.8 miles: There is truly something for everyone, from kid-friendly hikes to butt-kicker hikes. Each hike's elevation is listed as cumulative elevation gain, which measures every hill climbed throughout the hike, versus net gain, which measures the difference between the high point of the trail and the lowest point.
