This book takes you through the story of my family and others and shows you how we somehow end up taking prescription drugs throughout our lives. It also shows you why Americans are taking too many prescription drugs because doctors, pharmaceutical companies and pharmaceutical sales representatives are profiting. We need to lower the cost of prescription drugs for people who need them. Also, we need to educate consumers and doctors about alternative medicine so they can be aware of natural approaches to treat some health problems. The truth is our bodies and our wallets are affected by these drugs. We are told by our doctors that there is a pill for every problem. Our lives have become so fast paced that we don't have time to contemplate our own health or the health of our family. If we could eliminate just one pill from our ever-growing pillbox, just think of the money we could save over a lifetime! Renee Lovett is a wife and mother of two children. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg twenty years ago with a B.A. in Administration of Justice. She now works as an insurance agent. While selling health and prescription drug insurance, she found the subject of prescription drugs fascinating and decided to research the subject further. Renee enjoys helping people lower their out-of-pocket prescription costs and meeting and talking with the many people she has helped. By staying educated and informed about prescription drug costs, she believes we can all work together and find a way to lower prescription drug costs for Americans.
