REBUILDING WITH NEHEMIAH by Dr. Patricia Seawell- Recycling-definitely a feature of the 21st century! We all have the recycle bins, separating the plastic bottles from the newspapers, etc. But did you know that God is the original recycler? He is always making something new, but he uses the original materials. Just as a piece of damaged furniture in the hands of a master craftsman will come out looking better than the original, so will we when we allow God's restoration in our lives. We are really into makeovers in our time. Whether it's a new diet, a new wardrobe, exercise, or 12 steps to a new you. God has a 12 step program. We can find it in the account of the rebuilding of the gates in God's model city of Jerusalem. Each gate reflects on a major experience that is available for us when we follow His program. We will find that Jerusalem is not only God's special city, it is a system, a program for success, an organism, which functions perfectly on God's plan. So come along and take the tour with us. Dr. Seawell resides in Concord California. She teaches at a Christian elementary school, King's Valley Christian School as well as her church, New Hope, and at Gateway Christian College. Dr. Seawell is a wife, mother of 2 and a grandmother. She has a great deal of experience dealing with people in all walks of life.
