Have you ever felt alone on this journey called Motherhood? Have you ever felt that everyone has it all together except you? Are you holding the world on your shoulders, feeling as if you will collapse under the weight of it all? Well, guess what? You're not alone. We all succeed and fail as we continue to learn and find joy from everything life throws our way on a daily basis. Take a look behind the scenes: "I'm sitting here trying to type a book description while I have one child asking me why she's grounded from video games and another child sitting on my lap trying to get into my tape dispenser. I hear three of my other children screaming in the playroom and I'm supposed to be putting cornbread muffins in the oven for dinner. (I also have to poop.) " This is my book. It's about family life. But not the pretty family that you see on social media or in magazines. This is the fighting, the loving, the yelling, the laughing, the teasing, and the deep thoughts of the protagonist. Me. The mom. The General. So let me regale you with my stories (in diary form) that will keep you wondering how something as mundane as a simple life of love can be so terribly intriguing . . . and inspiring.
