IMMUNITY: Entitlement of Wealthy Political Notables

Kathryn Bennett for Readers' Favorite .. I have never had any doubt that in the world of American politics and money the rich live in a very different world than the rest of us. This book only proved my thoughts. This is a dirty, no holds barred look behind that curtain of wealth and power, where people seem to get away with anything and everything. I wish I could say I was shocked by the events of this book, but I was not. What I can say is I am happy that a code of silence was broken and this book came to light. Author Donna S LeClair made sure to tell these true events in an engaging way that wasn't overly embellished. The graphic parts of this book were not overdone and came through on the pages. This was a good and interesting read and I think it is something that everyone needs to read. FIRST PLACE WINNER FOR NARRATIVE NON-FICTION JOURNEY AWARDFIVE STARS FROM READERS' FAVORITEA motor racing enthusiast, David has little or no tolerance for traffic, so he drives the emergency lane 120 miles-per-hour up Interstate 405 until a police officer pulls him over near South Coast Plaza. When he approaches the car, asking for drivers' license and proof of insurance, David calmly says, “I do not mean to alarm you, but my badge, papers, and gun are in the trunk of my car.” ...“Oh shit!” I hear the police officer roar.Oh, shit, what the fuck does that mean? David and the cop chit chat for a spell before shaking hands and waving goodbye. “Have a good day Mr. Gram. I am sorry I interrupted your day. Just be careful,” the police officer says before motioning us back into traffic.... “David is immune from the law,” Pauline responds.... “I am not a city official, but I own some. Because of them and our relationship, I have … well, let me say, ‘special privileges’ the average person does not.” David arrogantly continues ... ...I have never had any doubt that in the world of American politics and money the rich live in a very different world than the rest of us. This was a good and interesting read and I think it is something that everyone needs to read. Kathryn Bennett for Readers' Favorite In a thread of quirky affairs, my path wandered not the illusion yearned, but schooling dominatrix time crowned damnably; beginning with David and Pauline Gram and the wealthy political notables mushrooming in an alternate universe unbeknownst to mere commoners. I witnessed fiends ablaze in ghostly untouchables living in realms howling with philanderers and rattling with serpents, while herds immortalize them in tabloids and idolize them by tracking that which they believe gospel. This is my reality, their reality, and a declaration of honorably truth about your reality. A searing memoir as powerful as the life experience that inspired it, 'Immunity' shadows the rabbit trail as I enter the realm of wealthy political notables whose privileges include protection or exemption from obligations and penalties, as David Gram crows, simple peons shell out. Groomed, tailored and intellectually attuned to mint her role as Pauline's personal assistant, I encounter the untouchable world of the elite. A path no man dare wander, let alone write about until I expose the consequences one's life and actions thereof have on another. Today I call life  REALITY , the lessons experienced AWAKENINGS, and the   egos exposed KARMA. Donna LeClair is a writer for Expanded Family Magazine and the author of 'One Little Black Book', and 'Waking Reality'; additionally, she was a featured author of the international book ' Stories of Courageous Vulnerability'.
