Oh no! Here come those mischievous youngsters. Lock the doors, close the windows. What sort of trouble will they get into this time? Take a nostalgic walk with me, to a time with no video games and the television was rarely on in the daytime. Kids of all ages spent their days outside without the parents worrying about them. Well, perhaps my parents should have been a little more concerned about what I was up to. This is the first in a series of three "The Trouble with Boys" books. I’ve put together some short stories of my adventures with a few friends growing up in the small town of Elmira Heights, NY. Though we were relatively good kids we ran into trouble at nearly every turn. Won’t you join me as I take you on a journey as four young friends come up with ideas to keep them from getting bored? Their ideas typically lead to the shenanigans that got them in a pickle. Laugh, cry, and just enjoy the ride as you mosey mentally through the 1960’s—a time that seemed much more innocent than today.
