Meet a group of inseparable teens from the little Town of Meadow Lake, beautifully nestled near the Shenandoah Valley and Appalachian Mountains in northern Virginia. Focusing on straight A’s and foremost, true friendship, they are about to stumble upon an unsolved 150 year old mystery, filled with scares and mayhem, angry neighbors, and a shimmering ghost. CRYSTAL RIDGE The moon had now slipped from behind the nighttime clouds, illuminating the area more brightly. "Time to get out of here," Ren thought to himself, glancing up once more at the ridge cliff face. Abruptly, his heart skipped a beat, and fear swept over him, as half way up the ridge cliff face floated the ghost of an Indian scout! Jay Richardson spent most of his time running the Appalachian Trail in the North Eastern United States and reading books as a teen, before video games of course! An avid outdoorsman, playing football, basketball, and baseball, he developed an immediate interest in reading Mystery Stories and Science Fiction Stories at an early age. The Mystery of Crystal Ridge is his first book, and is based on many real life experiences as a youth. He still resides in the Northeast with his wife and son. His interests have grown to collecting baseball cards, record albums, and of course video games. Currently he is working on another Mystery Novel in the Meadow Lake series and a Science Fiction short story.
