It almost always seems that explanations of most aspects of personal finance have to be complicated. There is a lot of jargon used by the professionals and it all appears to be designed to keep the ordinary person in the dark. Well, it does not have to be like that; there are ways for concepts and ideas to be described in language which any of us can understand. That is what my short books in the ‘Simple Money Guide’ series are here to do. There are a number of topics which most of us need to understand, in order to get by in this increasingly complicated world. They include, among others, mortgages and house buying, insurances, credit and debt. This, the 7th in the series is one which is close to my heart at the moment – Planning for Retirement.
