Tonya Sharp Hyche was born and raised in Alabama. After graduating at the University of Alabama with a bachelor degree in Secondary Education, Tonya moved to Texas and began a teaching career. After teaching over 12 years, Tonya started a second career, writing crime fiction novels. Tonya is married to her high school sweetheart Steve, and together they travel the world promoting her novels. Steve and Tonya have two sons and spend time in Alabama and in Texas when not traveling.
