This series includes an age appropriate (grades 3-5) introduction to curriculum-relevant subjects and a robust resource section that encourages independent study.From simple smartphone puzzle games to big-budget open-world adventures, video games are one of today's most popular forms of entertainment. Along the way, they will also explore the history of video games and learn basic programming skills. Jennifer Hackett studied physics and history at the College of William and Mary. After deciding she wanted to write instead of research, she attended New York University’s Science, Health, and Environmental Reporting Program. She currently works as Scholastic MATH’s associate editor.
